Pre-Apprenticeship Coming Soon to South Dakota

Pre-apprenticeships provide core knowledge and skills through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training. As a preparatory step, they ensure participants gain the tools, certifications, and sometimes acacademic credentials needed to qualify for a full apprenticeship.

A high-quality pre-apprenticeship program has a documented partnership with at least one Registered Apprenticeship Program to ensure a clear pathway for graduates.
